Which Florida venue is busiest for car events?

Daytona International Speedway: the spring and Thanksgiving Turkey Runs and Jeep Beach all use its infield and grounds.

Where can I run my own car down a dragstrip in Florida?

Showtime Dragstrip in Clearwater lists a Wednesday test and tune, and Gainesville Raceway and Bradenton Motorsports Park post dated street and bracket nights on their own calendars.

Is Palm Beach International Raceway still open?

No. The track near Jupiter held its last day in April 2022 and stays listed here as closed.

Which Florida car museums can I visit?

Tallahassee Automobile Museum, Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing, Revs Institute, Elliott Museum, Motorsports Hall of Fame of America, Orlando Auto Museum at Dezerland Park, Tampa Bay Automobile Museum, Classic Car Museum of St. Augustine.

Why do only some venues get their own page?

A venue earns a page with enough published facts and car events; others stay on this list.

Where do the venue details come from?

Track and venue websites, with news reports used for closures; each venue page links its source.

How do I get a Florida venue added?

List an event held there with the schedule page form, and the venue comes with it.

Are auctions and swap meets included?

Yes, when the venue or organizer publishes the dates, as Mecum does at Osceola Heritage Park.

Shows at Florida venues

Know a car show that is not listed?

Send it here with a link to the organizer’s event page, flyer or schedule. Weekly and monthly ones only need to go in once. If that page shows the name and the date (or the day of the week), it goes on this page right away. If not, we check it by hand within a week.

We keep what you send so we can check the event. Your email is never published.
