Summit Motorsports Park, two miles east of Norwalk, runs the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals in June, the Pontiac Nationals and Night Under Fire in summer and MoPowerMania in September. Darana Raceway near Hebron, the former National Trail Raceway, holds IHRA, import and street drag events from spring to fall, while Columbus hosts the Goodguys Summit Racing Nationals at the Ohio Expo Center each July and Cleveland opens the year with its auto show and the I-X Piston Powered Auto-Rama.
