In Concord, Charlotte Motor Speedway hosts Charlotte AutoFair each April, and zMAX Dragway across Bruton Smith Boulevard runs the four-lane NHRA 4-Wide Nationals in the spring. Streetside Classics and Gateway Classic Cars hold monthly morning meets nearby, and the Hendrick Motorsports Museum sits about a mile from the speedway. Out west, the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds on Soco Road books a different car, truck, Jeep or motorcycle weekend most weeks from April to October, a few minutes from the Wheels Through Time museum.
