San Jacinto Corvette Club: the essentials

The club held its first official meeting in 1957.

Early members met for Sunday picnics at San Jacinto State Park.

It has about 200 members from around the Houston area.

It says it is the only Houston-area Corvette club in the National Council of Corvette Clubs (NCCC).

Its main focus is spirited one-day weekend drives on back-country roads.
