About the South Georgia Motorsports Park grounds
The drag racing park outside Valdosta covers about 350 acres near I-75, and Raul and Jennifer Torres own it.
NHRA's national tour made its first stop there for the 41st NHRA Southern Nationals on May 1-3, 2026, moving the event from its long run in Commerce.
Ahead of that race, the track planned added grandstands, larger camping areas and better parking.
Its regular calendar includes bracket racing, small tire and radial tire shootouts and NHRA Division 2 Lucas Oil series races.
